Task 4A - Developing Lines Of Professional Inquiry

After studying Reader 4 and looking back over Task 2D (Inquiry) I am more filled with questions than ever!

I have chosen a few thoughts to expand on in this blog and hope to get some good feedback in order to make my thought become clearer.

1. Life skills learned by children in schools through performing arts. Dance vs drama.

2. How to treat young children - classroom vs parenting

3. Starting up a small company - Sarah Benton (saran-benton) with Step Up and Sing (stepupandsing)

4. The influence of theatre on young children as an inspiration.

5. Teaching - a secondary career choice? Is it difficult to get onto a PGCE vs other.

6. The service industry linking to performing arts. Almost every performer I know has a day job of some kind, usually within the service industry. Isn't customer service just a big performance?
Management within this industry - managing groups of people.

7. Another thing that I have really got into over the summer is yoga - I have found the practice has helped me enormously within my every day life, from aches and pains to mental relaxation. This could be something I am interested to look into...

I'm going to look into each of these categories in more detail today and begin to see if I can start to form some more solid ideas!

Back to blogging...

Well is it just me or did the summer fly by?!

So I have decided it's time to write my first blog and get back into the swing of things!

I did think about writing some posts during the holiday but without the tasks and Readers to guide me I was really struggling with what to write about or where to start.
I think next year I'll try to stay focused and maintain blogging throughout the summer.

Anyway so here we go with Module 2!
Overall I am really excited to get started again. I am please with how I did in Module 1 and hope to continue in much the same way.

Onto Reader 4!
